Leadership Ohio to hold ag weekend

Leadership Ohio, Class 20 will have an opportunity this weekend to learn more about Ohio agriculture when they travel to Marion County.

“These are leaders in management positions that are definitely ones that can talk about agriculture, talk about what they saw and how important ag is and how it’s involved in their everyday life,” said John Buck with Turnkey Leadership Group.

Buck tells Brownfield that during the two days they’ll be in Marion County they’ll be exposed to a wide range of agriculture.

“We’ll go to J.D. Equipment and talk about precision agriculture, we’ll go to POET ethanol, we’ll go to a large dairy, a winery, Farm Bureau, Farm Service Agency, Ohio Soybean Association, all these different groups,” Buck said. “We try to expose them to everything and what agriculture really looks like in the state of Ohio.”
