Locus AG becomes first ag input supplier to receive B Corp Certification

Locus Agricultural Solutions is now a Certified B Corporation.

The certification, administered by the non-profit B Lab, means that Locus AG meets the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability.

Paul Zorner, CEO of the company, says the certification confirms the good work that the company is doing.

“It certifies us that we’re a company that cares about what our products do but area also very focused on the environment in what we’re working, gender equality, the social aspects of our company, and nice balance between profit and purpose,” he says.

And Zorner says, based on their research, Locus AG is the first ag input company to receive the B Corp certification.

“We are the first and only agricultural input company of any size that has received that certification in North America, Europe, or Asia, which we’re very proud of ,” he says.

The process required the company to go through a multi-month audit process to measure performance in governance, workers, customers, community, and the environment.

Locus AG provides non-GMO and organic certified “probiotic” solutions to improve soil health, optimize crop yields, enhance plant and turf quality, sequester carbon, and reduce environmental impact.
