Lt. Governor prepares for new journey

Lt. Governor Becky Skillman is finishing up her final days in office before heading home to southern Indiana.

Last month Skillman was named president of Radius Indiana.  “This is an eight county economic partnership,” she says.  “I am very excited about it.”

She tells Brownfield this wasn’t on anyone’s radar.  “I have been consistent in this past year saying that I hope my next step would include economic development, or international trade, or agri-business,” she adds.  “I think I’ve just found a way to combine all three.”

She will begin her new position on February 1, 2013.
