MDARD invests in rural infrastructure

The Michigan Department of Agriculture is offering grants to support land-based industries and infrastructure that benefit rural communities.

Projects could include worker training, energy, transportation, housing, wastewater expansion and more with grants available up to $100,000.

Eligible counties much have less than 60,000 residents.  Applications are due October 29.
