Mixed weather conditions affect Tennessee crops

Tennessee farmers have been facing variable weather conditions with harvest wrapping up and winter wheat planting continuing.  

The USDA says 99 percent of corn has been harvested, two percent more than last week.  Nearly three-quarters of cotton has been harvest and 80 percent of soybeans are in.

Eighty percent of winter wheat has been planted with 56 percent of the crop emerged.

Pasture and range conditions are rated 17 percent good-to-excellent.
