MO winter wheat planting nearly complete

The USDA says Missouri’s winter wheat planting made progress under warmer than normal conditions last week.                  

Ninety – four percent of the state’s soybeans have been harvested, five percent ahead of last year.   

Cotton harvest progressed to 91 percent complete.     

Winter wheat planting is also 91 percent complete with 81 percent of the crop emerged. Fifty – one percent of the crop is rated good to excellent.
