Monsanto launches new dicamba spray cleaner
Monsanto has launched a tank cleaning system for growers who spray dicamba and other chemical mixes. Ryan Rubischko, Monsanto’s North American dicamba lead, tells Brownfield they’ve partnered with Adjuvants Unlimited to develop the system, “This something Monsanto has been in development for the last number of years. And so, really, this technology is unique from other commercially available sprayer equipment cleaners. It’s really based on a chemical process that deactivates certain pesticides, including dicamba.” Tank contamination has been identified as one of the ways dicamba caused injury to non-tolerant crops last year.
