Nebraska adds another Livestock Friendly County
Furnas County is the newest “Livestock Friendly County” in Nebraska.
Governor Pete Ricketts announced the designation at the Furnas County Fair in Beaver City. He praised the county for supporting its livestock industry and new livestock developments, which Ricketts said will “grow opportunities for the next generation of farm and ranch families”.
Forty-six of the state’s 93 counties are now designated as livestock friendly.
