Ohio Farm Bureau to hold annual AgriPower workshop

The Ohio Farm Bureau Federation is accepting applications for its leadership and advocacy development program.

AgriPOWER is for people interested in improving their understanding of agriculture issues and are willing to develop skills to be effective advocates for the farm and food community.

Participants will meet with government leaders and ag groups, study economic issues, food production systems and the role of media.

The program holds seven multiday sessions between July 2017 and March 2018 and two of the sessions will be held out of state including one in Washington D.C. save for the web

Applications are due April 17^th. Ohio Farm Bureau offers a number of scholarships to help with the cost of the program. For more info about the program, visit the Ohio Farm Bureau online
