Ohio Lamb Jam this Sunday

Once again this year the Ohio Lamb Jam is partnering with the Ohio Wine and Food Festival at the North Market in downtown Columbus on Sunday, July 14.

For those not familiar, Kristin Reese says Lamb Jam has a two-fold purpose.

“One is educating the public on just the different cuts and how to prepare lamb and just having a general conversation with people at the event about lamb,” said Reese. “And then it also to help work with local chef’s to incorporate, hopefully, lamb on their menus and to get them comfortable working with lamb.”

Activities during Lamb Jam will include a chef’s competition, a carcass cutting demonstration and an opportunity to talk with local sheep producers.

Lamb Jam will be held from 1 to 4 this Sunday, July 14 at the North Market in downtown Columbus.
