Planting begins for some Hoosier farmers

Warmer and drier weather has allowed some Hoosier growers to plant corn and soybeans.

According to the latest crop report, corn is 8 percent planted and soybeans are 3 percent planted, both behind the last year and five-year average pace.

Winter wheat continues to grow at a steady pace and is 61 percent good to excellent.
