Pork Checkoff to unveil marketing campaign

The Pork Checkoff will unveil a new marketing campaign at the National Pork Industry Forum in Phoenix next week. 

National Pork Board CEO Chris Novak says the promotional push will help producers during a time of tight margins. “We’ve got a new message coming forward to be able to reach today’s consumers with new messages about pork,” Novak says. “The demand that that is going to help us create is going to be absolutely critical to being able to sustain any type of profitability and growth within this industry.”

The industry is best known for its slogan “Pork—The Other White Meat”, which has been around since 1987.
