Rain limits harvest activity in Nebraska

Rain continues to limit harvest activity in Nebraska.

As of Sunday, 12 percent of Nebraska’s corn crop was harvested, compared to the five-year average of 20 percent. Soybean harvest was 19 percent complete, behind the 26 percent average.

Seventy percent of winter wheat was planted. Wheat emergence, at 42 percent, was slightly ahead of normal.
