Rains help improve crop conditions in Nebraska

Nebraska’s corn and soybean crops got much needed relief from weekend rainfall.

USDA says corn condition is rated 64 percent good-to-excellent and 97 percent of the crop has emerged.  Soybeans are rated 53 percent good-to-excellent with 86 percent of the crop emerged.

Winter wheat condition is rated 61 percent good-to-excellent.

Pasture and range conditions are 33 percent good-to-excellent.
