RCI Engineering buys Ag-Bag

Two Wisconsin silage product manufacturers are now part of the same company.  RCI Engineering of Mayville, Wisconsin has acquired the Ag-Bag product line from CNH Industrial America in St. Nazianz, Wisconsin.  The terms of the sale were not disclosed.

RCI Engineering makes hay and forage equipment for commercial operations and has expanded into making forage plot research equipment for seed and chemical companies, and universities.  They have performed engineering and prototype services for Ag-Bag since 2011.

In a statement, RCI Founder Randy Clark says he will bring all Ag-Bag dedicated employees and product lines from CNH to the Mayville facility, about 65 miles southwest of the St. Nazianz plant.

Ag-Bag began with five investors selling Silo Press products from Germany in 1978 and evolved with products suited for U.S. conditions.  Ag-Bag bought Silo Press and its patents in 1989.  Miller St. Nazianz acquired Ag-Bag in 2004, and CNH Industrial America acquired Miller and the Ag-Bag line of produces in 2014.
