REAP outlook meeting

USDA Rural Development will host a meeting in Massillon, Ohio on Tuesday, March 18, to outline the funding opportunities available through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP).

REAP is designed for rural small for-profit businesses and agricultural producers to install renewable energy systems and make energy efficient improvements through a grant program, that can help pay for 25 percent of the project costs, or a guaranteed loan program that will help pay for 75 percent of the eligible project costs.

Joining USDA Rural Development will be the Ohio Development Service Agency and the Development Finance Authority of Summit County.

The REAP outreach meeting will begin at 10 a.m. at the USDA Rural Development Area Office, located at 2650 Richville Drive in Massillon.
