Take Action program expands

The Take Action program to combat herbicide and fungicide resistance in crops has expanded to help farmers preserve Bt insect protection technology.

The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) and the Agricultural Biotech Stewardship Technical Committee are sponsors of the educational program that urges farmers to plant the required refuge based on geography and corn product; to use a combination of strategies including rotating Bt traits; and scouting fields continually during the growing season.
