USDA signs memorandum of understanding with AFA

The U.S. Department of Agriculture will be partnering with Ag Future of America to prepare young people for careers in agriculture.

USDA and AFA signed a memorandum of understanding outlining the collaboration. USDA has committed to advancing opportunities for AFA delegates to participate in USDA programs and internships. In turn, the AFA will provide opportunities for USDA to meet with AFA delegates for that information.

Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says the agreement reinforces USDA’s commitment to preparing students for future careers in agriculture with an emphasis on the federal sector.
