Winning essay writers receive Ag Youth Awards

Two outstanding youth in agriculture earned 2013 Brownfield Ag Youth Awards at the Knox County Fair in Bloomfield, Nebraska.

FFA members Kylie Knigge of Verdigre, Neb., and Alexandria Cunningham of Wausa, Neb., won an essay contest to snag this year’s belt buckles.

Katie Hanvey, also of Verdigre, received an honorable mention.

KK93 partnered with Brownfield Ag News for this year’s award.
