Winter wheat in Kansas could use some rain

Winter wheat conditions continue to decline in Kansas from drought conditions.

USDA says 24 percent of the crop is good-to-excellent.

Corn and soybean harvests have finished.

Topsoil moisture is 75 percent short to very shorty and subsoil moisture is rated 86 percent short to very short.
