Milk futures higher, cash dairy mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile were higher Monday as traders bought back oversold positions.

June Class III milk up 26 cents at $20.14.  July up 27 cents at $18.94.  August nine cents higher at $17.47.  September up 13 cents at $17.10.  October through December contracts a penny to a dime higher.

Dry whey down $0.01 at $0.3350.   Five trades were made ranging from $0.3350 to $0.3425.

Blocks up $0.0325 at $2.5850.  One sale was made at that price. 

Barrels unchanged at $2.36.  Two trades were made at $2.3350 and $2.36.   

Butter unchanged at $1.9250. 

Nonfat dry milk down $0.0175 at $0.96.  Two trades were made at $0.96 and $0.97.
