NAMA scholarship deadline set for Feb. 1

Student members can apply for scholarships through the National Agri-Marketing Association.

Application deadline is Feb. 1, 2013. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $4,000.

How to apply for NAMA scholarships:

  • nama-logoJudging is by representatives from the Agri-Business Educational Foundation.
  • Nominee must be a member of an accredited Student NAMA chapter.
  • Chapters may nominate more than one individual from freshman, sophomore or junior underclassmen. Seniors graduating in May or graduate students are not eligible.
  • All applicants must have a “B” or higher grade point average.
  • The monetary award must be used during the following school year.
  • Entries must be submitted on the form on the following page. A word-processed version of the form may be created and used. The form can also be accessed at www.nama.org in the Student Guidelines which can be found under the Student tab. Regardless of font size and margins, application cannot exceed two 8-1/2 x 11 pages. DO NOT SUBMIT RECOMMENDATIONS FROM PROFESSIONALS AND ADVISORS. THESE WILL NOT BE JUDGED.
  • Entries must be received by the national office on or before February 1, 2013.
